However, there are some places in the city that could use some improvements as far as bicycle safety is concerned. For example, there is no bicycle lane on Tennessee st close to FSU campus and downtown, which is an area of heavy traffic for both cars and bikes. The road there is not even wide enough to accommodate both and bikes on the sidewalk have little room to swerve for avoiding pedestrians. I have since left Tallahassee and am currently on a journey to bicycle all of Florida.I feel that much more work needs to be done in Tallahassee for the safetey of bikes.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
