South Tampa always seems to get the shaft on these projects, the Bayshore bike lane is a joke (as you noted recently), and I don't see anything changing soon without a change in policy.Davehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01847400565451611206noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7301587267512017243.post-56221707275774185522009-02-25T09:08:00.000-08:002009-02-25T09:08:00.000-08:00Alan, I will not be able to make it, but have sent...Alan, I will not be able to make it, but have sent my gripes about the repaving and road work that was completed a few eyars back on Westshore Blvd, south of Gandy. There was rom to put in bike lanes, but they were never installed..instead the contractor shorted the sides of the road by about 1 foot of asphalt, and the city just kept saying they would go back to the contractor, unbelieveable that the room is there for a lane on either side, all the way from Gandy south onto Commerce Blvd to Picnic Island...what a nice ride to Picnic Island, but it gets very scary from Commerce Blvd to the park. THANKS!! :)Tampa I Amhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17612675770410297735noreply@blogger.com
