This Squirrel Won't Fly (Anymore)
Yesterday I was strolling in the neighborhood when I saw a hawk hanging out on a light utility pole a block or two north of Hillsborough Avenue.
I noticed a certain crtter that was hanging out with the hawk. Check out the squirrel tail.

Very cool! That hawk (or a similar one) hangs out in the oak tree above my house, and is notorious for leaving half-eaten squirrels and pigeons in my yard. I cleaned up 4 partial squirrel carcasses in a 2-day period a few months ago when this eating machine had the munchies!
That hawk was a long-distance cyclist in a previous life.
