Bicycling is life-affirming. But it's also a challenge in this country.
Check out these two posts. In New York City, there have been only two arrests made in connection with 21 bicyclists killed by motorists.
And then there's the ongoing struggle in Congress where Republicans want to transfer what little money there is for bicycle/ped projects and give the money for highways.
