CBE owner Brian Eckman tells me that the thief apparently just grabbed it and took off while there were several other people coming in and out.
Brian says, "Funny thing is, it's THE MOST rare and recognizable bike they could possibly take, and VERY EASY to spot someone riding it. The bright orange and silver, belt-driven Trek District. There are MAYBE 4-5 sold in the state so far. I've attached a picture. It was a 56cm. I can confirm the serial number if it's recovered."

I know the exact bike...because I covet that one every time I step into CBE.
I hope that scumbag gets his hands cut off and I hope CBE recovers it successfully so I can continue to drool on it on my next visit.
