March Is Bike Month In Florida -- Check Out The Fun

March is bicycle month in Florida, though you should feel free to pedal any month of the year.

There are a lot of fun bicycle activities in March such as the Seminole Heights Bicycle Club movie night on Saturday March 19 at 6 PM and the Downtown Tampa Crit bike race on March 26 all day. For info on the crit, contact Karen Kress at the Tampa Downtown Partnership at 813-221-3686.

And on Saturday, there is the Seminole Heights Bicycle Club easy ride -- a fun 6-mile ride through Seminole Heights, featuring pedaling along the Hillsborough River and around Lake Roberta. That's 8:30 AM. Contact me at alansnel@yahoo.com if you want info on the SHBC easy ride.

And at ll am, Tampa BayCycle has a terrific event -- a bicycle scavenger hunt called USF's Amazing Race.
