Bicycle Stories' Happy Wishes To Today's Groom -- Hanque Curtis

Hanque Curtis is a wonderful reporter who sat across from me at a New York state newspaper called the Times Herald-Record in the Hudson Valley. Hank was the best cops reporter in the biz and could fire up a story on deadline by reaching into his desk drawer, gripping a bottle of hot sauce and gulping s slug while pounding out a sharp-written story. He's awesome. These days, Hank is a premier reporter for the Orlando Sentinel.

He's also been known to pedal, too. Here, Hank rides his Bianchi road bicycle around Lake Roberta in Seminole Heights in Tampa.

Oh, one more thing.

Hanque got married today to a beautiful woman, Claudia, today in Kissimmee. It was an incredible ceremony and festive celebration and Bicycle Stories wishes the lovely couple a lifetime of happiness.

Toasting Hank and Claudia was Hank's Newburgh pal, John Courtsunis.

Wow, an incredible reunion at Hank's wedding of pals from the Times Herald-Record. Moving left to rght, that's incredible nature writer Wayne Hall; superb courts writer Larry Lebowitz of the Miami Herald; a guy who writes Bicycle Stories; investigative reporting heavy-hitter Bob O'Harrow of the Washington Post and long-time courts reporter Oliver Mackson, a TH-R mainstay.

I enjoyed a reunion with Courtsunis, owner of the Commodore Chocolatier in Newburgh, NY.
