The Seminole Heights Bicycle Club held its third-Satuday-of-the-month long ride, staging two rides -- a fast one and a slower one.
The fast ride cruised by the new house of Derek Jeter and we stopped to pose in front of the construction site.
It all inspired rider Doug Jesseph to come up with this.
"Time for a haiku:
Steamy summer day,
Spandex shorts in the right lane,
Behold the huge house!"
Thank you Doug. On the way from Seminole Heights to Davis Islands, I enjoyed a beautiful sight -- the SHBC roadies zipping down Nebraska Avenue into downtown.
The Ghost Rider wears his famous Cars R Coffins jersey.
