Bumper Sticker of the Week

We have campaigns for everything, but how come there is not a campaign to stop people from littering our earth with cigarette butts?

I don't get it. During cycling trips when I'm stopped at intersections, I see hundreds of butts littering the road.

But now there's a bumper sticker that says it all.

I realize this is Hillsborough County and we have a certain redneck reputation. But can we all agree that throwing cigarette butts to the ground is just plain wrong?

I'm a full time smoker and a part time redneck, and even I follow the rule of this bumper sticker. There's no reason to litter, and cigarettes should be no exception. Not only do the butts detract from the landscape, but I can't tell you how many times I've had one land in my car (miata, top down) from passers-by throwing lit smokes out of windows. Just a month ago, someone threw a lit cigar out of a Yukon and it hit me in the face!
