Pulling The Plug On Circuit City

People bought homes they could not afford and have since lost their homes. And there is other tangible evidence of a low-performing economy. Like in a suburban New Tampa shopping center across from the Flatwoods county park where businesses are dropping faster than Bucs head coaches. A Bennigan's restaurant in the shopping center. Shuttered. Linens N Things? Closed and cleaned out. And now Circuit City -- one of 567 such stores that are going down across the country. That's 34,000 employees.
