This time, Hillsborough County government will update people about the proposed extension of the Upper Tampa Bay Trail, which is supposed to be extended about eight miles and connect with the Suncoast Trail.
The meeting is 7PM at the Northdale Recreation Center at 15550 Spring Pine Drive off of North Dale Mabry Highway north of Bearrs Avenue.
A landowner along the aligned proposed route has refused to sell an easement of land for the connector trail and the county is now thinking about routing the trail around her property -- a move that would cause the trail to cross Gunn Highway twice.
