Sorry to start your week on a sad note, but another bicyclist has been killed in the Tampa Bay area this morning.
A semitrailer truck killed the bicyclist on State Road 54 near the Suncoast Parkway in Odessa in south Pasco County at around 6:30 am when it's still dark outside. That's all the available details at this point.

My heart goes out to the family. i saw the body driving by and my heart sank. live your life and enjoy it as you never know when your last day may be.
I saw the body too:( and I can't get that image out of my head. May he rest in peace. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family!!
It was an extremely somber moment, as I too drove by and saw the black bag that encased the body of Mr. Andres Manuel Ortega. My heart sank, as well, as I realized how precious and fragile life is. May he rest in peace and my heart goes out to his family, as he life was cut unexpectedly short. Live life to the fullest and cherish every moment.
My heart sinks every time a cyclist is killed on the road. Makes me appreciate that I lived through my dreadful cycle crash - hit head on by a woman on a cell phone.
