The BBbtB Billboard Rides Into St. Pete

With the Bicycle Bash by the Bay a mere two weeks away, it's time to take out the famed Bicycle Bash rolling billboard to promote the Oct. 19 bicycle festival at Vinoy Park. So today the Bicycle Bash by the Bay billboard -- featured on FOX Channel 13 two years ago -- enjoyed a visit to St. Petersburg and the Pier.


The Bicycle Bash by the Bay rolling billboard also made a pitstop at the sports bar named Ferg's where Tampa Bay Rays fans gathered at 4 PM in hopes of watching the Rays close out the White Sox in the first round of the baseball playoffs. It was not meant to be -- the Sox took out the Rays, 5-3, and avoided elimination.


Blue-tinged mowhawk -- Tampa Bay's favorite haircut these days. You can even get away with goofy replicas.


Right out of Central Casting -- this Rays fan had the look and the can of Bud.
