Ellen Pierson, my Police Unity Tour bicycle pal, is cycling with her comrades up the Atlantic seaboard to Washington, DC. Here's her report from today:
"I went out to dinner last night with my college buddy Kim Koivu. She is doing great after a bone marrow transplant. Anyway, we rode around 106 miles. Nice tail wind so things have been great.
"Today was day 7 we rode about 103 with a 17 mph average. We had 5 ceremonies at law enf agencies. I feel good. Knees are hurting but i am hanging on to that wheel in front of me. Tomorrow is about 100 to Va Beach. The long ride ends. Day of rest then the 3 day."
