It was nice to see my friend Alan participate in Saturday's Hub Grub Bicycle Ride. But I was saddened to hear this morning from Alan's girlfriend, Ana Vasquez, that someone stole his Redline Monocog 29er Single Speed bike Sunday. Ana says the bike was stolen off Alan's bike rack in West Tampa on Armenia Avenue north of I-275
Ana says, "We searched for an hour through the neighborhoods with no luck. The bike may show up in bike shops because the bike is equipped with clips, high bike seat and large tires which all need special bike tools to adjust.""
Ana advises all shops and cyclists to be on the lookout.
