Seminole Heights Bicycle Club Has Ride To Bash Sunday

If you're interested in bicycling from Tampa to the Bicycle Bash by the Bay on Sunday morning, the Seminole Heights Bicycle Club has a ride to St. Petersburg for the Bash. from the club;s Web site:

"We are hosting a ride to the 2009 Bicycle Bash by the Bay on October 11th. We will meet at the Seminole Heights Garden Center (5800 N. Central Avenue, Tampa) at 8:30AM and leave promptly at 9AM. After enjoying the Bash for a few hours, we'll meet up at the Seminole Heights Bicycle Club tent at 2:00PM for the return leg to Tampa.

Take a look at the proposed route here:

The total ride length will be about 50 miles, split up into two legs. The pace will be moderate (14-16 MPH) but not excessive...we're riding for fun and adventure, not training. There will be secure bicycle parking once we arrive at the Bash, but if you want to bring an extra lock, that's ok."
