This road isn't actually closed.
It's open for other public purposes besides motorized vehicles.
It's open for a First Friday street festival in Las Vegas' arts district.
Too often the Department of Cars, uh, Transportation forgets that not everyone wants to use a motorized vehicle and that public right-of-ways such as roads should be open for all users.
