Pedestrian Bridge Above the Hudson River

Bicycle Stories readers know my fondness for the Hudson Valley -- one of the nicest parts of the country to ride a bicycle.

About midway between Albany and New York City is a new pedestrian bridge -- a former railroad bridge -- that connects the town of Highland on the west side of the river with the Poughkeepsie area on the east side.

I fantastic rails-to-trails success story.
