Ellen's PUT Report

Well, it's not a day at Bicycle Stories without our friend Ellen giving her Police Unity Tour report:

welllllllllll 90 miles today.

other facts and figures -16.7 MPH average, 3742 calories, 130 average Heart rate, max speed today was only 30 mph.

thank goodness the hills are behind us. tomorrow is 100 miles into VA Beach area. and then believe it or not we have May 9th OFF the bike.

we do the 3 day PUT May 10, 11, and 12.

we left rocky mount NC in the rain but the sun came out and it was a nice day. tail winds kept us moving nicely. we were cruising at 2o mph into Edenton, NC for the night.

we had ceremonies in Rocky Mount, Oak City, Bethel, and Edenton. Police Escort most of the way. Edenton fed us fried chicken, mac and chez, and green beans, I had 3 pieces of chicken and 2 helpings of all.

Hope all are well in their lives. I am feeling good. Tired but good. Knee hurt this morning but Advil, ICe, and rest are helping. I think the hills being gone is the best medicine.

Ellllllllllllllllllen
